Portadown Branch & Club of the Royal British Legion Office Bearers

Each October at the branch and club AGM a new committee is elected. The chairman would like to encourage members to attend the AGM each year as well as branch meetings that are held on a regular basis.

Portadown legion in 2005 saw the branch & club maintain the Northern Ireland Efficiency Cup as well as the Haig Cup.

The Haig Cup is awarded to most progress and efficiency Royal British Legion Branch worldwide, this is the 1st time the Haig Cup has been in Northern Ireland in over 30 years.

Various sub-committees made up of officers, committee and members have been formed to look after Welfare, Sports, Entertainment, Gaming Machines, Bar Control and Stock, Door Duties and Catering. The workings of these sub-committees greatly help with the smooth running of the Branch and Club.
 
The Officers and Committee are elected each year at the Annual General Meeting in October under the supervision of an impartial member of the Northern Ireland Executive Council.
