Portadown Branch & Club Facilities

The Portadown Branch and Club have a number of rooms which were renovated in early 2004. Rooms can be hired for private functions by RBL members.


Portadown British Legion offers its members a number of facilities and rooms allowing them to relax and enjoy a quiet moment reading their favourite newspaper or meeting old friends and comrades for a chat or drink.

Downstairs BarIn February/ March 2004 the main bar, hallway and ground floor toilets were renovated, this included a new seating layout as way as being recovered, as well as new flooring throughout the ground floor. The club is open from 10 am each morning with the bar opening from 11.30 am Monday to Saturday and 12.30 on Sunday, and a warm welcome is extended to Royal British Legion members, their guests and serving members of the armed forces from all around the world.

On the ground floor the club have two games rooms, a snooker room containing 2 full sized tables and a pool room with a pool table as well as a dart board.

Disabled members and guests are also catered for with lift access to the upper floor of the building and all doors are wide enough to allow wheelchair access.

On the upper floor of the building we have a number of rooms including a large function room with adjoining small bar, the two rooms can be divided into separate rooms if required. Also upstairs is a smaller committee room, a well equipped kitchen as well as a large patio and conservatory.

The branch hold a number of different functions throughout the year, from the Annual Poppy Ball each year to a variety of formal dinner dances or informal quiz nights.

Likewise members have the opportunity to hold their own function within the building at reduced rates compared to other establishments in the area.Those members wishing to book any of our rooms should contact the club during normal office hours.
